Meet your Coaches:

Mitch Temple

Mr. Temple brings over two decades of full time Family Therapy, writing and speaking know-how making him one of the most of well connected and experienced family experts in the church and Christian market. He holds two Masters Degree's in Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy and authored/ coauthored five published books including: The Marriage Turnaround (Moody Pub.), First Five Years of Marriage, Help! (Tyndale Pub.) We are Drifting Apart (Tyndale), Bride and Grooms Guide to Marriage (Tyndale).  He is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He brings years of experience in working with the nation’s largest Christian family non-profit – Focus on the Family.  Mr. Temple helped create and build one the organizations ongoing top initiatives to millions of constituents- Focus on the Family’s Marriage Department.  He has worked full-time in local church work for over two decades.  He also brings strategic alliance, partnerships and message/ story shaping expertise in working with family and faith based movies like Fireproof, Gracecard and Courageous.

In addition to helping individuals, families and couples go to the next level, Mr. Temple has helped some of the nations largest for profit and non profit organizations move forward in the areas of marketing, branding, problem solving, next steps analysis, product development, content production, DVD production, producing Live National level events.  Mr. Temple is founder and President of Temple Consulting and runs a private coaching and therapy practice in his home town.  Organizations he has worked with include: Family Life, Provident Films (Division of Sony), Focus on the Family, Men's Fraternity, DaySpring Cards (Division of Hallmark), Family Dynamics, National Marriage Week, Let's Strengthen Marriage, Mens Fraternity, Christian Universities and Churches.

Mitch has worked with individuals, families and couples for over 20 years. His goal is to help people  go to the next level in their careers, faith, goals, family and life. He specializes in simple, small step changes, common sense approaches to changes and discovering the next level of success. He specializes in utilizing The Marriage Turnaround System to help strengthen and save marriages. He and his wife Rhonda of 28 years conducts crisis workshops which turnaround over 80% of couples in crisis who attend.

Matt Turvey

Dr. Turvey earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology almost 10 years ago with a specialization in Marriage and Family Studies.  He is now a licensed clinical psychologist and adjunct faculty at Dallas Theological Seminary. In addition to seeing couples and families in private practice, he has worked with several leading organizations in the field of relationship enrichment - the Smalley Relationship Center, Marriage Today, PREPARE-ENRICH, and WinShape Marriage.  His work with each of these groups has allowed him the chance to further hone his knowledge base and skills in helping individuals and couples from varied walks of life. 

He is currently the President of Fishbowl Consulting, a company helping couples, families, and organizations gain new perspectives on their current situations.  He works to help people see outside their fishbowl - where a new perspective may be all it takes to solve some of life’s problems.  Dr. Turvey applies his clinical expertise and real-world knowledge of how relationships work best to help people gain these fresh perspectives.
